Data capture consent.
Please read this page once. By manually drawing your signature, you give Contios permission to capture, process, de-identify, use, sell, license, and share real-world workflow data under the terms below. This worker consent is ongoing: it can cover repeated and future recordings unless you withdraw it.
What may be captured
Contios may record the tasks you perform, mainly your hands, tools, workspace, and the work in front of you. Because real work happens in real places, recordings may also capture your face, voice, clothing, badge, screens, nearby people, background conversations, and the surrounding area. This consent is not limited to one capture date; it may apply whenever Contios records you for approved dataset work after the consent date, until you withdraw it.
How the data may be used
- Captured material may be transferred to Contios, its service providers, contractors, group companies, customers, partners, researchers, or clients for processing, review, storage, security, annotation, and dataset creation.
- Contios may clean, label, structure, edit, transform, de-identify, combine, and analyze the recordings to create processed datasets and related materials.
- Processed datasets and related materials may be used for research, commercial development, artificial intelligence systems, robotics systems, product development, demos, documentation, and operational analysis.
- Contios may sell, license, sublicense, provide access to, or otherwise share processed datasets and related materials with customers, partners, researchers, or other third parties.
- Recordings and processed data may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from India, the United States, and other countries where Contios, its processors, customers, or licensees operate, subject to applicable law and any government-notified transfer restrictions.
How private information is protected
Contios cares about participant privacy. Before external release, sale, or licensing, Contios will process the material to remove, blur, redact, mask, crop, transform, or otherwise protect private information where practical, including names, contact details, badges, documents, screens, addresses, unrelated conversations, and other sensitive identifiers. Unprocessed recordings may be handled by Contios and trusted providers so this privacy processing can happen, but Contios does not intend to share private information in processed datasets.
DPDP notice, withdrawal, and rights
Taking part is voluntary. Contios will process personal data for lawful purposes connected with dataset creation and AI/robotics development. You may ask to access, correct, update, erase, or withdraw consent for personal data as available under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies. You may request that Contios stop recording you or remove unreleased material by contacting Contios or the site manager. Processed datasets, model outputs, or dataset versions already sold, licensed, shared, or published may not be fully reversible, but future releases can be updated where practical.
Lawful and ethical use
Contios does not seek consent for fraud, unlawful surveillance, money laundering, sanctions evasion, bribery, discrimination, exploitation, or any other illegal purpose. Contios intends to maintain security controls, access controls, audit records, vendor review, and release review so dataset work remains lawful, transparent, and privacy-respecting.
Hand-drawn digital signature
I have read this document and agree to the ongoing capture, processing, de-identification, transfer, use, sale, licensing, and sharing described above. I understand that my hand-drawn digital signature has the same intent as a handwritten signature for this consent packet.
